Our nightly look ahead to the schedule with a couple of notes and story lines so you can plan out your NBA viewing. All Times Eastern.
Fire up the League Pass
10:30 – Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Clippers (TNT)
Sorry, I can’t in good conscience recommend Chicago-New York to the viewing public. I know that’s the first national game in a light schedule, but I just get the feeling that this game will be over early. I don’t think that’ll be a good game.
Denver at the Clippers… now THAT’S excitement. Two high-powered offenses getting ready to put on a show in a season nearly devoid of exciting, offensive basketball.
Not that I don’t enjoy an 85-78 slug fest.
Ok, I don’t enjoy an 85-78 slug fest. Not often. And few people do, because those games are ugly. This game won’t be ugly. This game will be fun. Stay up or set your DVR’s… but watch this game.
Couple of notes:
- The Nuggets currently own an all-time winning percentage of .558 (82-65) against the Clippers, which stands as the best mark for Denver against any opponent in the NBA with at least 100 meetings between them.
- Chris Paul has now recorded a steal in 23 straight games, dating back to last season, the longest current streak in the NBA
