SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Orlando Magic are facing the San Antonio Spurs tonight in the Alamo City in what 
could be Dwight Howard’s last game in a Magic uniform.
Will he stay or not remains to be seen but what is certain is head coach Stan Van Gundy has had enough with questions revolving around Howard’s situation.
During a press conference before tonight’s matchup, Van Gundy made it clear he had enough of questions revolving around Howard and it seems he lost his cool when he repeatedly told reporters he won’t talk about Howard’s future in Orlando.
Seems one reporter was persistent much to the dismay of Van Gundy.
When asked the first time:
“You know what. I don’t really want to talk about it. It’s so tiresome.”
Second time:
“I’ve been dealing with this for three months. There’s nothing fresh to me. I’m tired of it. Talk to someone else about it.”
Last time:
“I don’t know how many times I can answer that. “You don’t seem like a dumb person, but I’m not gonna talk about it.”
When let into the lockerroom and Dwight turned and saw all the media, he said “I’m going to say the same thing Coach Van Gundy said,” then said, “If we had any questions we could ask ‘Little Dwight,’ referring to Earl Clark.
As the trade deadline clock is rushing to an end, I am sure Howard, Van Gundy, and the Magic franchise are looking at the clock as well not only to put an end to inquiries about Dwight’s future with the team, but to watch the clock on what new direction the team will take.
Until then, when Van Gundy doesn’t want to answer a Howard-related question, it’s best you listen.
