Michael Redd averaged 15.1 minutes per night in 51 of the 66 games played last season for the Phoenix Suns. His career long battle with injuries is well-chronicled, but he certainly appeared healthy enough to contribute last year.
He told me last month when I caught up with him in Columbus, OH that he "feels terrific" too, adding that he's currently experiencing has "no pain" from any past injuries.
It's almost September though, and Michael Redd is not a member of an NBA team.
As a Cleveland Cavaliers fan, I'd be certainly open to plugging him in some at the two-guard spot for the right price next year. The Cavs, reportedly, have no interest in the 32-year old guard.

Teams mentioned as possible suitors include the Wizards, Nuggets, Grizzlies, Bulls, and yes, Thunder, who still have a spot available in the backcourt after Derek Fisher's departure.
Teams obviously wouldn't be getting anything close to the Mike Redd of old, but eight points on forty-percent shooting in 15 minutes of work per night is still a spark off the bench. The nineteen-point per game career scorer can still stretch defenses some with that jump-shot, and I'd be shocked if he didn't end up somewhere in the Association on opening night.
Maybe that landing spot is in Washington, Denver, Memphis, Chicago, or OKC.
