As we reported earlier today, the Spurs have listed guard Manu Ginobili as doubtful for game 1 of the Spurs’ series againt the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.
According to what Ginobili posted on his Twitter acount earlier, the pain from his elbow sprain is almost gone.
Ginobili would be a huge loss for game 1, but if the pain from his sprain is gone by Sunday, you can bet he’ll be begging and pleading with Spurs coach Gregg Popovich to play him.
That collective sigh you heard was coming from Spurs fans. But they aren’t in the clear yet, since Popovich usually takes a cautious approach with injuries.
