Samaki Walker is in a bit of trouble. You see, Samaki was pulled over the other day and he had a few things that he wasn’t supposed to have.
Officials said about 10 grams of marijuana was seized from the vehicle with some prescription drugs and eight bottles of liquid steroids.
That’s not good. That’ll get you in a little bit of trouble. But that’s not the best part. I assume you knew that because of the headline. Ok, here it is:
Arizona authorities allege former NBA basketball player Samaki Walker tried to eat marijuana as a Department of Public Safety officer approached his 2002 Mercedes-Benz during a traffic stop Thursday in Kingman.
Was he going to wash it down with the steroids and chase it all with whatever those pills were? I’d say of all the things he had in the car, the weed might have been the least of his worries.
According to the story, Samaki uses the roids because he’s still ballin in Syria and he needs them to keep up. Which is sad, really, because that means he’s still only good enough to play ball in Syria even WITH the performance enhancing drugs.
Good luck with everything Samaki. And thanks for giving me an excuse to bring back your draft day photo. Looking at that picture, I’m slightly less shocked by these developments.
