Remember the Warriors’ “Run TMC” made up of Mitch Richmond, Tim Hardaway and Chris Mullin? Of course you do but this new trio may rival them. Mavs’ Dirk Nowitzki, Monta Ellis and Chandler Parsons decided to form “Run DMC” complete with rap video which just oozes with awesomeness. Oh and Dirk raps!

With tomorrow being NBA opening night as well as the Spurs’ ring night and banner raising, Bloguin’s own Project Spurs did a San Antonio Spurs Roundtable to preview the defending champs’ 2014-15 season.
Of course the big question for the Spurs is will the team finally be able to defend a title after four other unsuccessful attempts.
The panel discussed who is the team’s x-factor? Which team is the biggest threat to the Spurs? Are the Mavs going to be an obstacle for the Spurs? How does rookie Kyle Anderson fit into the team plans?
The panel looks at new coaches Ettore Messina and Becky Hammon. What kind of impact will they bring to the Spurs?

After suffering a gruesome leg injury over the summer with Team USA (and no I will not link the video because it is that bad), Pacers’ Paul George will be out the entire 2014-15 NBA season to recover from surgery.
However, it does appear Paul is recovering faster than expected and is actually back on the court taking a few shots at Pacers practice.
He looks good and signs of his awful injury are no where to be seen. George is not limping or struggling on his surgically-repaired leg.
