Spurs’ Parker makes hitting a behind-the-back, half court shot look too easy

What can’t Spurs point guard Tony Parker do? He has won multiple NBA titles, been an all-star, married a model, and is worshiped like a god in his home country. Then there is this! While in France for an exhibition game, Parker decided to show off his range by making a behind-the-back, no-look, over the head, half […]

Recently, the Hornets (and their sweet new-look uniforms) held a media day photo shoot and from the looks of things, they had some fun. From Al Jefferson posing for the cameras, players […]

Charles Barkley throws out first pitch at a Cubs game. Fails miserably

Charles Barkley will go down as one of the best the game of basketball has ever seen. For his  size and stature, he scored at will, rebounded like someone 8-feet tall, an played with a ferocity the game had never seen. And although he never won an NBA title, he was inducted into the Basketball […]

First he will be featured in an upcoming “The Punisher”  and now No. 21 is starring as himself in the latest commercial for “Black Jack Speed Shop,” the auto body shop he owns. Just like […]

Kings set to retire Peja’s jersey

He was part of the first wave of European players to make an impact in the NBA and now Peja Stojakovic’s jersey will be retired by the Kings.

Peja played 16 seasons in the NBA and was known for being one of the game’s most prolific outside shooters. He averaged 17 points, 4.7 rebounds, and shot 40 percent from the 3-point line in his career.

Not only that, he was a three-time NBA All-Star: 2002, 2003, 2004, a 2-time NBA 3-Point Shootout Champion: 2002, 2003, ranked fourth in NBA history in career free-throw percentage at .895, ranked ninth in NBA history in 3-pointers made with 1,760, ranked seventh in NBA playoff history in free-throw percentage at .900, ranked 11th in NBA history in 3-pointers attempted with 4,392 and was the first player in NBA history to start a game off by scoring 20 consecutive points for his team.

Sacramento drafted Peja 14th overall in 1996. With the Kings, he averaged 18.3 points and five rebounds. He is Sacramento’s leader for 3-pointers made (1,070) and attempted (2,687) and free-throw percentage (.893).

Things get heated at FIBA World Cup during U.S. vs. Lithuania matchup

Team USA got the win over Team Lithuania 96-68 but things were testy during the game. And at the center of it was DeMarcus Cousins. Yeah shocking right? During the game, Cousins and Jonas Valanciunas got tangled up when DeMarcus was soooooooo close to throwing a vicious punch at Jonas. It seems Cousins didn’t take to […]

FIBA World Cup Upset Alert: France defeats Spain

It was thought to be another Team USA vs. Team Spain matchup for gold at the 2014 FIBA World Cup. Well so much for jumping to conclusions and dismissing other teams. Team France came into the tourney limping. No Tony Parker, Joakim Noah, Kevin Seraphin, Nando De Colo. They were counted out as legit threats […]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpXbA5WKN3c NBA 2K15 ratings are a big deal. In fact, they might be bigger than the game itself. Enter the Cavs who did not want to be upstaged with their own version of Anderson Varejao‘s afro on […]
