Wizards’ Gortat thinks he’s a member of the Celtics

Either Wizards’ Marcin Gortat got really confused last night or the Celtics think it’s OK for opposing players to snoop into their team huddles.

During last night’s Celtics-Wizards game, Boston took a timeout and huddled up when Gortat decided it be alright to listen in and get their strategy. of course not one Celtic player even noticed and Boston eventually lost.

That usually happens when you let opposing players listen into timeout discussions (h/t BSO).

CC Video of the day: LeBron James raps over a Jay-Z track. Oh the humanity!

Oh the humanity! Someone please let Heat’s LeBron James know he needs to stick to his day job and not even think he has a future in rapping.

A recording of James rapping over Jay-Z’s “F*ckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt” has been found and like expected, it is not Grammy worthy.

Check it out and let us know what you think of LeBron’s “skills” with the mic.

Pacers’ Hibbert: “Some selfish dudes in here”

For most of the NBA season, the Pacers looked like a juggernaut and perhaps the team to end the Heat’s reign in the East. But after a loss to the Wizards, and Cavaliers, Indiana might be losing their mental-edge and chemistry might be shaken up a bit – t least with Roy Hibbert. After the loss […]

Video: NBA Hall of Famer – Dennis Rodman – wears drag queen makeup during basketball game

If it was anyone, and I mean anyone else, this might come to a shock to the masses but considering it is former NBA player Dennis Rodman, well maybe it’s not that surprising.

During a recent game in Argentina for the Legends of Basketball Tour 2014, Rodman played in spike blonde hair and full on drag queen makeup. And yes, there is video of this.

(H/T Project Spurs).

CC Video of the day: Breaking down the Spurs’ winning streak

The San Antonio Spurs are on an impressive winning streak currently standing at 17 games in a row. But what it all mean? Does it really matter in the end especially for a team like San Antonio?

Bloguin’s own Project Spurs recently broke down the Spurs’ winning streak on their TV show and made it clear – this winning streak for a veteran team like the Spurs means nothing.

From who is the MVP during the streak to when it might all end, check out the Project Spurs’ panel as they break it all down.

Video: Pacers’ West gets into scuffle with Cavaliers’ Dellavedova, Hawes

http://youtu.be/yeud3VtwXbM

The Pacers surprisingly lost to the Cavaliers and it seem frustration may have mounted with David West.

Late in the fourth quarter, with the Cavs handling the Pacers, West was under the rim trying to score 2-points and got tangled up with Matthew Dellavedova and Spencer Hawes.

Hawes stepped in to defend his teammate seeing how West threw an elbow at Dellavedova and the two were separated.

CC Video of the day: Heat’s Bosh with the nice put-back slam

http://youtu.be/xAf7Rui5KcU

The Pistons gave a lesson to those in attendance for at last night’s game versus the Heat on how not boxing out opposing players can lead to easy dunks. Case in point – Chris Bosh waltzing into the lane versus Detroit for the easy put-back dunk.

Seriously, two Pistons players were right under the rim and didn’t even bother to box out Bosh or any Heat player.

CC Video of the day: Spurs’ mascot loses his eyes… literally

Hopefully the Spurs mascot, “The Coyote,” gets hazard pay because he definitely earned it versus the Nuggets in San Antonio.

During the game, Denver’s Aaron Brooks went chasing after the ball out of bounds only to have the Coyote standing in his way. The result was some “road kill” as Brooks barreled over him resulting in the mascot losing his eyes… literally. (h/t Project Spurs)

Video: ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith gets emotional over the Knicks

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxqF5GEfKYg#t=41

The Knicks were looking like they found their groove. Winning eight straight games, and even hiring Phil Jackson to the front office. Then they fell apart versus the Lakers, as LA defeated Knicks. Yes the lowly Lakers beat the Knicks.

So leave it to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith (devoted Knicks fan) to go on air and lose his mind over NY and their bi-polar play all season long.

CC Video of the day: Lakers’ Young celebrates three-pointer prematurely

Oh Nick Young.

You may be one of the better three-point shooters in the NBA but sometimes you still need to make sure the ball falls through the net before rejoicing.

During the Lakers-Knicks recent game (or embarrassment for New York) Lakers’ Young was on fire from behind the arch. He hit 5-6 from long range but the lone miss ended in a way he probably wishes he can do-over.

See, Nick felt very confident the shot was going down, he turned away from the basket, started to celebrate but little did he know, he missed.

Mavs’ Cuban feels Lakers best years are behind them

The Lakers franchise is one of titles, great players, numerous memories, and one of the most storied teams in NBA history. Under the leadership of Jerry Buss, the Lakers were a consistent playoff contender but now that the Buss era is over, Mavericks’ Mark Cuban feels the team will be floundering for many seasons to […]

CC Video of the day: MKG devastates Blazers’ Leonard

Oh! My! Goodness!

With the NCAA tournament fully underway, some of you may have missed this beauty courtesy of Bobcats’ Michael-Kidd Gilchrist. This weekend the Cats and Blazers faced off and MKG decided to absolutely murder Myers Leonard with a sick facial!

No words can describe the devastation so enjoy and RIP Meyers.

Thunder’s Westbrook’s knee will be all right

Thunder fans got a scare recently when guard Russell Westbrook suffered a knee injury versus the Raptors. Considering Westbrook has been dealing with knee issues which caused him to miss most of the Thunder’s run last season, seeing him go down again with another knee injury would have been a tough pill to swallow as […]

CC Pic of the day: Bynum decided to get a haircut at halftime

Pacers’ Andrew Bynum is out for the season with a knee injury. I know shocking. Yet despite being out for the season Bynum still had time to get a haircut at halftime of a recent Indiana game and continued to show just how much he has not matured. One might say, “Well that’s Bynum,” […]
