Pau Gasol went beast mode vs. Bucks!

So the Bulls’ Pau Gasol had himself a game versus the Bucks. Pau scored a whopping 46 points and recorded 18 rebounds last night making him the oldest player in NBA history to ever log those kind of stats. Whether it was inside or outside, Pau made the Bucks look silly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UehpCd5bxjY

76ers’ McDaniels, Carter-Williams just showing off

The 76ers have been cellar-dwellers in the NBA for some time now, but slowly they are finding their groove and things are looking up. With a young roster they are not only pulling out wins, but they are bringing excitement on the court. Example – K.J. McDaniels and Michael Carter-Williams hooking up for this sweet […]

Charlie Villanueva gives a lesson in how to blow easy layups

Attention young ballers. Class is in session and your instructor is Mavs’ Charlie Villanueva. Today’s lesson is layups. More specifically, how to blow easy, wide open layups the right way. Check out Charlie V botching a point-blank layup versus the Clippers. Well done Charlie! Brilliant and quite educational.

Apparently Quincy Acy is the Knicks’ MVP

You would think a Knicks team with Carmelo Anthony would feature him as the team MVP despite a horrific season. Nope! It is so bad in NYC that fans have appointed Quincy Acy as the team’s MVP and they let him know it in a recent game at Madison Square Garden. I speak for all […]

No one messes with the Kings’ mascot when DeMarcus Cousins is around

No one messes with the Kings mascot whenever DeMarcus Cousins is around. During the game against the Denver Nuggets, the Kings’ mascot was trying to make a half court shot and entertain the fans when one Nugget player decides to mess with him and stop his shot attempt. Enter Cousins, who wasn’t having any of that. […]

Anthony Tolliver rejects Hawks’ Millsap, Horford

Detroit’s Anthony Tolliver showed off some of his defensive chops versus the Hawks. Tolliver not only rejected Paul Millsap, he also rebuked Al Horford’s shot and in an ego-crushing way. Who knew he had it in him? Well, Millsap and Horford know now.

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the New Orleans Pelicans are sending Austin Rivers to the Boston Celtics in the three-team deal that also includes Jeff Green going to the Memphis Grizzlies and Quincy Pondexter joining the Pelicans. The Grizzlies will also be sending the Celtics a future first-round pick, which I’ve heard C’s general […]

Someone decided to make a video tribute to Brandan Wright’s time in Boston

The Celtics just traded recently acquired center Brandan Wright to the Suns for a protected draft pick after playing eight games in Boston. And apparently Wright’s short tenure in Boston made such an impact on the franchise that someone decided to make a tribute to Wright for “all” he did for the franchise. You will be […]

‘Air Len’ throws it down on the Spurs

You remember the iconic Michael Jordan dunk in the All-Star game where he takes off from past the free throw line and hangs in mid-air for the dunk? Well maybe it isn’t quite the same but the Suns’ Alex Len did something similar versus the Spurs as he took off from past the free-throw line […]

Trevor Booker might have had the craziest shot of the year already

Utah Jazz forward Trevor Booker is only averaging 7.6 points this season, but he might have had the coolest and craziest two points of the year already. Just see how creative he gets with 0.2 seconds left on the clock. Yup. That’s worth watching a few times. Congrats, Trevor Booker. You will forever be remembered […]

Chef Curry Cooking With Fire

Steph Curry gets spicy on and off of the court these days. Especially with his new This Is SportsCenter commercial. After being disgraced by two ESPN chefs, Steph takes matters into his own hands by hosting a cooking challenge against his wife who is actually a chef. The meal? Chicken Curry. Steph’s wife better be careful […]

This year the Atlanta Hawks are one of the greatest story lines in the NBA. The Hawks hold an Eastern Conference-best 27-8 record, which is also good for the third-best resume in the NBA. The Hawks are drawing interest from all around the country except one place, Atlanta. The Atlanta Hawks rank 24th out of […]

With recent trades, the Cleveland Cavaliers are all in

It’s pretty obvious to say that the 2014-15 season for the Cleveland Cavaliers has been far from a resounding success, at least so far. After an offseason which netted them Kevin Love in a trade and hometown hero LeBron James via free agency, along with some lesser complementary pieces, the Cavs were expected to immediately […]
