Star Wars fans are going nuts over the upcoming Star Wars Episode 7 set to hit the big screen next summer.
It might be one of the most highly anticipated flicks in recent memory and it seems nerds are coming out of the shadows counting down the days.
Including Nets’ Brook Lopez!
Lopez stated he has an “in” with the production crew and he may live every geek’s fantasy… to play a Wookie.
“My friend works on the set,” Lopez said, via the Wall Street Journal. “I don’t want to jinx it, but pretty good so far.”
Lopez definitely has the height to play a Wookie and it is not like there’s much to it. Just walk in a furry suit and fight off Stormtroopers and fly a spaceship and…. OK OK I got to stop. I’m nerding out badly right now.
Needless to say, if Brook lands the role, I will be jealous.
