D-League’s David Stockton proves he’s a chip off the old block

Like father, like son.

NBA legend John Stockton was the master of the assist. He’s regarded as one of the best point guards of all time, holding the NBA record for most career assists. In fact, he is the NBA’s all-time assist leader.

And it seems that the knack for finding the open man is in the genes as his son, David Stockton, proved in a recent D-League game.

David plays for Reno Bighorns and against the Texas Legends, he dropped 22 assists in one game.
