Minnesota Timberwolves select Kris Dunn with the fifth pick of the 2016 NBA Draft

With Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram, Jaylen Brown and Dragan Bender off the board, the Minnesota Timberwolves were up next with the fifth pick of the NBA Draft. Brown and Bender went a bit higher than some expected so the Timberwolves pretty much had their pick of whoever they wanted outside of Simmons and Ingram.

With the fifth pick of the 2016 NBA Draft, the Timberwolves selected…..

Kris Dunn.

Kris Dunn is a point guard from Providence. Dunn was a fourth-year junior and is a college graduate. Dunn averaged 16.4 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 5.3 rpg and 2.5 spg.
