With Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram, Jaylen Brown and Dragan Bender off the board, the Minnesota Timberwolves were up next with the fifth pick of the NBA Draft. Brown and Bender went a bit higher than some expected so the Timberwolves pretty much had their pick of whoever they wanted outside of Simmons and Ingram.
