Pelicans’ Asik forces OT vs. Spurs.

The game was in hand. All the Pelicans had to do was defend for a measly 0.7 seconds versus the Spurs in San Antonio and New Orleans would start 2015 on the right foot.

Enter Omer Asik.

Defending Tim Duncan, Asik saw the lob pass, and… tipped in the ball to send the game into OT.

Not only did the game go into overtime, but it ended in a 95-93 Spurs win.
