Relive the greatest three-pointer ever made on Memorial Day

Considering it is Memorial Day, why not take a step back in time to 1999 in San Antonio at the Alamo Dome where former NBA’er Sean Elliott made what is arguably the greatest basket made on this day – “The Memorial Day Miracle.”

With just a mere 12 seconds left on the clock and the Spurs trailing the Blazers 83-85, Elliott found himself with the ball in the corner to launch a three over Rasheed Wallace only for it to find the bottom of the bucket.

The Spurs would take their only lead of the game (86-85) to win the game and propel them to their first NBA title in their franchise.
