Jeff Teague has been inconsistent at times this season for the Indiana Pacers, but over the last couple of weeks has been coming into his own. He showed that once again on Sunday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder by scoring 30 points to go along with nine assists in a huge road victory.
Even without Paul George and C.J. Miles, the Pacers were able to walk into Oklahoma City and come out with a win.
Indiana has been hoping that Teague would find his groove and play up to the superstar potential that he has shown so many times in the past. During his tenure with the Atlanta Hawks, Teague showed that he was one of the top point guards in the NBA. He fell off a bit last year, but he is starting to get it back.

On Sunday night against the Thunder, Teague ended up scoring 30 points on 9-16 shooting from the floor overall and knocked down three of his four three-point shots. Teague also sank all nine of his shots from the foul line. In addition to his scoring and nine assists, Teague recorded six steals and turned the ball over just three times.
At 28-years-old, Teague is living out his dream of starring for his hometown Pacers. He is without question the second best player on the Indiana roster and this team is his whenever George misses a game. Teague made that a reality against the Thunder and showed that the Pacers can win when he is the No. 1 option.
All of that being said, the future is very bright for Teague with the Pacers. He is beginning to figure out how he fits with the team and it is showing on the court. Teague is showing why Larry Bird went out and was aggressive this past offseason and it is paying off for the Pacers.
