The Oklahoma City Thunder faced the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night and it was a big night for superstar forward Kevin Durant. He is one of the best scorers that the NBA has seen in quite some time and showed off his full arsenal of scoring against the Nuggets.
Coming into the game, Durant had averaged 26.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. He shot 51.0 percent of his shots and has also knocked down 40.0 percent from behind the three-point arc. Durant is without question capable of scoring 30 on any given night and the Nuggets simply had no answer for him.
At 27 years old, it is good to see him bouncing back so strongly from his foot injury last season.
Durant led his team to a 110-104 victory over the Nuggets. Obviously it is good that he was as on fire as he was with that win margin. Without him on the floor, the Thunder likely would have ended up falling to the Nuggets.
Check out some of the highlights from his game and enjoy watching one of the best scorers in the game go to work.
