Wizards’ Marcin Gortat is enjoying the NBA offseason in his native country of Poland and either it must be a cultural thing or he really loves pigs.
Gortat was spotted in Poland at a mall and walking his pet… pig (h/t That Cover 2).
I guess that is how he rolls in Poland proving a pig is truly Marcin’s best friend.

“Sources close to the Cavs told ESPN.com this weekend that the team is now leaning toward taking [Jabari] Parker with the No. 1 pick. However, it’s far from a lock. Parker came in to work out on Friday in front of the Cavs’ front office and ownership. Parker wasn’t great. He was a bit heavy (he weighed in at 255 pounds), didn’t shoot the ball well and got winded at times. Furthermore, two different sources told ESPN.com that Parker seemed a bit indifferent. One source said he thought Parker “tanked” the workout.”

The Spurs won it all this past season, their fifth title in franchise history, but now come the questions… will they bring that key role players – Patty Mills and Boris Diaw – next season?
Mills was instrumental in the Spurs’ postseason run including his deft shooting touch from beyond the arch. As for DIaw, well, he absolutely changed the course of the NBA Finals against the Heat as he showed he can do it all on both ends of the court.
But why should they return? Do the Spurs want them back?

Foot Locker may very well have won the ad wars of the NBA Playoffs with their spot featuring Damian Lillard and several non-champions.
The shoe store got back at it again with likely top-three pick Dante Exum of Australia in the latest batch of ads.
You are excused if you do not know who Exum is. He spent the year training alone in Australia rather than playing one year of college basketball. He wowed at the U19 FIBA World Championship and at the Nike World Hoops Summit. But those were both at least a year ago. No one has seen him play since.
Life will certainly change after the Draft.

Joel Embiid already faced injury questions thanks to a back injury that knocked him out of the end of last season with Kansas. He appeared to have answered many of those and cemented himself as the top pick in this star-studded NBA Draft.
Reactions are sure to run wild now that Embiid has been knocked out with a foot injury for at least a little while.
Foot and back injuries are not good signs for 7-foot centers.

Remember the NBA Playoffs this year?
Those sure were great. Yeah, those last two months really seemed to fly by. It was only yesterday Damian Lillard was ending the series with the Rockets with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer and every night was a treat of the very best basketball.
The Spurs ended things on top. But, man, what a ride.
