The Looking Glass of Blake Griffin: The Coexistence of Excellence and Agony for the Los Angeles Clippers

Be honest: How corny would it be if I started this piece with, “It was the best of times and the worst of times for Blake Griffin”? Then again, that’s exactly what we’re talking about, right? Griffin notched 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists on Wednesday, the first playoff triple-double for the franchise since […]

Watch: Highlights from Spurs OT win over Clippers

We talked yesterday about this years first round of the playoffs not being able to hold up to last years but it looks like we found a series that is going to be a lot of fun before it’s over. While most were probably tucked away in bed, the San Antonio Spurs and Tim Duncan […]

Watch: Top 10 NBA Plays of 2014-2015 season

Before I started contributing to Crossover Chronicles I had no idea how ridiculously good the NBA’s Youtube Channel is. They are cranking out consistently good and fun content. Other leagues should take note. Here’s a look at the best plays of 2014-2015 as we head into the playoffs…

Blake Griffin with the 180 degree… block?

Clippers’ Blake Griffin is know for dunking the ball and even breaking out the 180 degree block from time to time. But how about a 180 degree block from Blake! Well Griffin did just that versus Boston’s Jonas Jerebko as he was going up for a layup and though he was in the clear for an […]

Blake Griffin does a great Austin Rivers impersonation

I guess being the head coach’s son doesn’t protect you from being the target of Blake Griffin. During a recent Clippers practice, Griffin was caught on film making fun of Austin Rivers, the son of head coach Doc Rivers. Griffin pulled out all the stops including the head jerking, Rivers’ dribbling style and even Austin’s […]

The Clippers are now an underrated contender in the West

In the stacked Western Conference, it’s very easy to get lost in the shuffle. With teams like the 42-9 Golden State Warriors and 39-14 Memphis Grizzlies, along with five other 30+ win teams at the All-Star break in the conference, there are extremely talented squads everywhere. The argument could be made that a good five […]

Damian Lillard gets his All-Star nod

It looks like Damian Lillard will get his All-Star nod after all. After it was announced that Blake Griffin would miss the All-Star Game with a staph infection, commissioner Adam Silver got to choose another player to replace him. Who did he go with? Damian Lillard of course! Portland
