Bobcats Name Cho GM

Former Portland Trail Blazers GM Rich Cho has been named the General Manager of the Charlotte Bobcats with Rod Higgins being promoted to President of Basketball Operations.

ChoCho was recently fired by the Portland Trailblazers due to what president Larry Miller said was not a good match.

Now the team that gifted Cho and the Blazers Gerald Wallace is now further rewarding him by naming him their GM.

Cho will have his work cut out for him in Charlotte. The Bobcats still have a very high payroll considering the level of talent on the team and he’ll have to be a quick study with the Bobcats’ ninth overall pick in the upcoming draft.

Cho’s analytical perspective paired with Higgins’ experience should be a good combination to get the Bobcats on the right track.
