Bulls Kick Off East Playoffs, C’s-Knicks Own Sunday

The NBA has put out the Eastern Conference Game 1 times.  Here’s a look, courtesy of Sekou Smith

The Bulls and Pacers kick things off in the East on Saturday at 1pm on ESPN.  Miami-Philly tips off at 3:30 on ABC and then Orlando-Atlanta caps things off at 7pm back on ESPN.

The only Eastern game on Sunday is Celtics-Knicks at 7pm on TNT.  We’ll assume Sunday will be stacked with Western Conference games because that schedule hasn’t been set yet.  I’d expect a late Saturday game out West and then a day full of match-ups before the Celtics and Knicks go at it.

The Celtics can probably thank their TD Garden roommates for an extra day to rest their legs.  The Boston Bruins are in the NHL’s Stanley Cup playoffs… and game 2 of their series with the Montreal Canadiens is scheduled for Saturday night.

See?  And you said hockey didn’t matter.
