Jonas Valanciunas Rap Song Played During Halftime Of Eurobasket Game On Friday

When you consider the fact that Jonas Valanciunas is young, fresh, as well as fly, and then combine that with the reality that he has both stacks and gold medals, it was really only a matter of time before rap songs started dropping in his honor.

In this case, the Lithuanian Rapper by the catchy street handle of O’Grime took that initiative earlier this week, when he released this track below in dedication to the Toronto Raptors 5th overall pick this past June:

Now before you attempt to put your reaction to that collection of bars into words, I’d also add that this song was apparently played over the PA system on Friday night during Lithuania’s Eurobasket game; something I searched for video of, but couldn’t find quite yet.

Ryan Wolstat from the Toronto Sun did offer some confirmation of this however, indicating that this O’Grime melody may in fact have been played during halftime of the Lithuania / Turkey contest for realz; a game Lithuania won 75-68 despite the fact that Jonas did not play, when Ryan tweeted the following:

“I still can’t believe they played the Jonas Valanciunas rap at halftime today in Lithuania. Pretty hilarious.”

Pretty hilarious indeed Ryan, I agree.
