Lockout blah blah blah season may not happen yadda yadda yadda… but the NBA revealed a logo for the 2012 All Star Game anyway.

Bloguin’s Orlando Magic Daily did some digging and found out that this, in fact, is the logo for the All Star game to be held in Orlando in February (assuming the lock… oh you know what to assume). This is some good detective work from our boy Phil Rossman-Reich, who noticed this logo out there almost two months ago. After a bit of runaround and denials, He got the confirmation yesterday.
I’m sure this would have been revealed at some point soon by someone playing NBA 2K12. That game has been revealing more things about the upcoming NBA season (like alternate jersey designs) than anything else lately. I’m betting someone going on a three-day-with-no-sleep bender is about to get to the All Star game and reveal this logo soon enough.
That, by the way, is my preferred method of research. If you can’t find the answers to your questions by playing endless hours of video games, then they’re not answers worth getting.
