Andray Blatche does not have an NBA team. He needs somebody to want him in a bad way, and is hoping to convince the Brooklyn Nets they need his services. He played in only 26 games last season for the Washington Wizards, averaging 8.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest.
The Wizards have since used their amnesty clause on the 26-year old big man, and are paying him to stay away. He worked out for the Nets this week, but all we know is what can be surmised from his Twitter account.

Andray Blatche hasn't tweeted since Saturday morning. At 7:42 a.m., not long before Howard Beck reported that Avery Johnson would meet with him, Blatche wrote, "I'm up and ready for this workout a Lil nervous tho." He added he had lost 20 pounds recently "just grinding."Five hours later, he wrote, "It doesn't really matter where you start it's where you finish." As of Sunday night, nothing else."There's little there to confirm the workout was with the Nets, but they are the only NBA team who's been that interested in him. And a potential teammate, Tyshawn Taylor, is now following Blatche on Twitter.
If Blatche is humbled by his current status in the NBA, and comes back motivated to capitalize on his physical abilities, he could be a valuable piece for a Brooklyn team that could use some help up front. Washington will continue to pay the majority of his way wherever he goes, and he could be had for as little as the veteran's minimum.
If it does not work out in Brooklyn, he will be sitting on the outside looking in when the 2012-13 NBA season tips-off.
