Rudy Fernandez And Kenny Faried Provide An Early Candidate For Alley Oop Of The Year

While Los Angeles may be “Lob City” with Chris Paul throwing oops to high flyers like Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, perhaps the best lob of the early NBA season came tonight from Rudy Fernandez of the Denver Nuggets.  Fernandez had quite the journey this offseason to Denver from Real Madrid via Dallas, but could turn out to be a solid addition for the high powered Nuggets.  Check out this highlight as Rudy throws a no look, over the back of his head alley oop to rookie Kenny Faried for the jam.  The basket also doubled as Faried’s first hoop in a Nuggets uniform as Denver routed Sacramento 110-83.  It was on the same court back in March where Faried and his Morehead State team upset Louisville thanks to another great highlight.
