The Look Ahead for February 7

look_ahead

Our nightly look ahead to the schedule with a couple of notes and story lines so you can plan out your NBA viewing.  All Times Eastern.

Fire up the League Pass

7:00: Utah Jazz at Indiana Pacers (NBA TV) pacers_text_logo

The Jazz are coming off a shocking loss to the New York Knicks, who were playing without Amar’e Stoudemire for the game and Carmelo Anthony for all but five minutes of the game (groin injury, out 1-2 weeks).  They’re also looking to avoid four straight road losses.

The Pacers will be no easy test.  The Pacers bigs will be tested by Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson, but they’ll also have a chance to go off against them too… making this an interesting battle to watch.  At least, the most interesting battle to watch in a seemingly weak day in the NBA

Couple of notes:

  • The Pacers have lost eight of their last 10 against the Jazz, including two of three at Indiana.
  • After a slow start in his first nine games in which he averaged 11.9 ppg/8.4 rpg, Paul Millsap has averaged 18.9/10.3 in his last 15 games.
