Our nightly look ahead to the schedule with a couple of notes and story lines so you can plan out your NBA viewing. All Times Eastern.
Fire up the League Pass
8:00 Denver Nuggets @ Chicago Bulls (NBA TV)
Still no Derrick Rose for the Bulls, who clearly don’t need him* as they’ve won four in a row and 12-4 without him. Chicago is locked up a playoff spot already, but Denver is in a dogfight for a spot out West. They’re in a three-way tie for the seventh spot and 1.5 games out of the fourth spot. Denver is not playing well and they’re dealing with a few injuries of their own, but a little run here could vault Denver back into the middle of the playoff race.
*sarcasm
Couple of notes:
- Denver is 16-8 when scoring 20 or more fast break points
- Chicago has not lost consecutive games in the regular season since Feb. 5-7, 2011, a span of 82 games. That’s the longest stretch in team history and 4th best in NBA history
