Will the Spurs bring back their key role players?

The Spurs won it all this past season, their fifth title in franchise history, but now come the questions… will they bring that key role players – Patty Mills and Boris Diaw – next season?

Mills was instrumental in the Spurs’ postseason run including his deft shooting touch from beyond the arch. As for DIaw, well, he absolutely changed the course of the NBA Finals against the Heat as he showed he can do it all on both ends of the court.

But why should they return? Do the Spurs want them back?

Bloguin’s own Project Spurs broke it all down including Spurs fan’s reactions on Manu Ginobili’s decision to play for Team Argentina in Spain at the FIBA World Cup.

Project Spurs Previews the Spurs-Heat NBA Finals Rematch

The Spurs and Heat will once again face off in the NBA Finals but this time, the Spurs will be seeking a measure of payback after losing to Miami in last season’s Finals in seven games.

To break down the rematch, Bloguin’s own Project Spurs previewed the Finals. From who is the Spurs’ x-factor, which Miami player needs to step it up to what should the Spurs do to slow down LeBron James, the panel breaks it all down.

Check it out.

CC Video of the day: Spurs Capture 2014 West Crown

The Spurs will once again make a return to the NBA Finals for the sixth time in franchise history after defeating the Thunder in six games in the Western Conference Finals.

This marked the Spurs second West title in a row and a chance for revenge against the Heat who defeated San Antonio in last season’s Finals.

Charles Barkley thinks Manu Ginobili is from Europe

The NBA has seen a huge influx of players from all over the globe but initially a majority of players came from Europe. Players such as Vlade Divac, Drazen Petrovic and Peja Stojakovic all hailed form Europe but slowly but surely, players came from all over the world.

Take Spurs’ Manu Ginobili who is from Argentina located no where near Europe but for TNT’s Charles Barkley, Manu is European.

Every single Blake Griffin dunk for you to enjoy

The Clippers 2013-14 season is over but it doesn’t mean forward Blake Griffin left fans with some memorable dunks… as usual.

From rim-rocking alley-oop dunks, driving to the lane dunks to everyone’s favorite posterizations of (insert NBA player’s name here) dunks, Griffin once again made all NBA fans get out of their seats and just admire his handy work.

Duncan’s girlfriend fires back at Charles Barkley

By now you should know exactly how TNT’s Charles Barkley feels about the women of San Antonio. But in case you don’t know, let’s just say he thinks they are overweight and is not going to apologize about his remarks anytime soon.

So of course with the Western Conference Finals in San Antonio, the female population of the Alamo City struck back at Charles and leading the way was none other than Spurs’ Tim Duncan’s girlfriend – Vanessa Macias.

Wearing a T-Shirt saying “Barkley Don’t Know,” Macias was on camera looking upset at Barkley while pointing the finger at him in shame.

CC Video of the Day: NBA – ‘Game of Thrones’ Style

For all you NBA and “Game of Thrones” fans, this one is for you.

Called “Game of Zones,” this creative take on the NBA gives you a cocky Pat Riley talking with LeBron James about the rising Wizards team, Kevin Love not happy being in Minnesota, and OKC’s Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant preparing for the zombie-like San Antonio Spurs coming back for another shot at the title.

Barkley isn’t apologizing, San Antonio

Leave it to Charles Barkley to stir things up… again!

TNT’s Barkley has been on a tear recently directing comments at the female population of San Antonio. More specifically, he has no issues calling them, “Big ol women.”

His comments have drawn the ire of the women of San Antonio and few have been demanding he apologizes for his less-than-complimentary words.

But if you think “The Chuckster” is going to apologize for his words — think again.

During a recent show of “Inside the NBA,” Barkley took time to address the firestorm he created but was insistent that he isn’t going to apologize whatsoever. As a matter of fact, he said you can turn off the TV.

SNL mocks Donald Sterling

You know it was only a matter of time before “Saturday Night Live” weighed in on the Donald Sterling drama as only they can.

After NBA Commissioner banned Sterling for life and will try to get him to sell the Clippers, Sterling never had a press conference to give his side of the story. Until now.

Check out SNL’s skit of “Sterling” giving his thoughts on his action. Pure comedy.

CC Video of the day: TNT ‘Inside the NBA’ crew weigh in on Sterling’s lifetime NBA ban

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver dropped the hammer on Clippers owner Donald Sterling yesterday banning him for life from any NBA activities and fining him the maximum 2.5 million.

Sterling now faces losing his franchise as well as forever being known as a blight on not only the NBA but on society.

The masses applauded Silver’s actions and now the crew at TNT’s “Inside the NBA” weighed in on the steps taken to oust Sterling. Needless to say, they were proud of Adam as new commissioner of the NBA.

Rockets’ Lin travels… big time!

Apparently the refs for the recent Rocket-Blazers game need to bone up on the NBA rule for traveling because they really blew this obvious traveling courtesy of Houston’s Jeremy Lin.

Memo to NBA refs… players are allowed to take 2 steps without dribbling the ball. Not three, not four or the bazillion steps Lin took.

Seriously, how in the world did the refs miss this call?

Behind the scenes of TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’

You know the show and you know the craziness that happens nightly during the NBA season.

Of course I am talking about TNT’s “Inside the NBA” with Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal.

From actually covering the NBA to crazy stunts such as Barkley once having to kiss an ass. No not what you’re thinking of, a real life donkey. This show has pushed the envelope of what a show can get away with on TV while bringing laughter to many fans around the world.

But what goes on behind the scenes? Check out “Real Sports” recent feature on “Inside the NBA” and enjoy.
