Mike Conley got crossed, dropped, and CP opened up shop

Oh boy! The Clippers’ Chris Paul just committed a crime. He murdered Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley. His weapon of choice? A killer crossover that left Conley crashing to the court and dropped loads of humiliation upon him. R.I.P. Mike’s ankles. They will be missed.

Al Jefferson does not really care about playing defense

Look, Bobcats’ Al Jefferson is quite the offensive player but defensively… well… yeahhhhh! Big Al has never been known for stellar defense and he didn’t help the matter with this pathetic recovery defense he displayed versus Chicago. After getting beat off the dribble, Al just stands like a pylon, watches the player blow right past […]

Raptors tickets continue to be a bargain

A year ago the Toronto Raptors traded Rudy Gay away and were contemplating blowing their roster up. The Raptors came together and made a solid playoff run, though, which convinced management to retain star point guard Kyle Lowry and make another run with the team as it is presently constructed. Now Toronto is atop the […]

Thomas Robinson, somehow, played 102 games for the Portland Trail Blazers. He started four games in Portland despite numerous stints on the disabled list for Robin Lopez and LaMarcus Aldridge over that stretch. Robinson received just 12.4 minutes a night; he managed twice as many turnovers as assists. Portland dealt Robinson, along with Will Barton, […]

Lucky we’re alive: What exactly happened between Boogie Cousins and Zach Randolph on Wednesday

It has been a tough season of basketball for Boogie Cousins, that much we know. Dealing with harmful viruses the past four months — the kind that plagues your body, and whatever the devilish strand is that continuously plagues the front offices in Sacramento — has predictably shortened Cousins’ already lacking sense of humor. I […]
