Andrew Wiggins, you are in good company

Some of the trades in the NBA are amazing. Frankly, that is one of the reasons the NBA is so intriguing. The off-court action can be as active and interesting as the on-court action. It certainly makes July and August more interesting. More than any other sport, no contract is immovable and any player can get […]

Summing up the Wiggins-Love trade Taiwanese animation style

You know you are in for a treat when something huge in the NBA happens and the Taiwanese animators get their hands on it and sum it the only way they know how – with complete absurdity. And by complete absurdity, I mean Kevin Love and LeBron James spinning in circles and holding hands. The […]

Team Canada responds to Jason Whitlock being ridiculous

Jason Whitlock likes grabbing headlines. He says some really dumb, stupid things and we pay attention because they are dumb and stupid. His latest pointless diatribe was against Andrew Wiggins and his being from Canada. Whitlock’s latest baseless, and completely bigoted, claim is that Wiggins “struggled” at Kansas because players from Canada do not want […]

Jabari Parker leads executive straw poll

“‘This is about as close of a top three as I’ve seen in a long, long time,’ said one veteran general manager. ‘It really does depend on who gets the top pick and whether they are willing to take a risk or not.’

‘I think one GM would go with Parker, another would go with Embiid and another with Wiggins,’ added another. ‘No one knows who will go first right now.’

“Parker is the low-risk selection, a 6-foot-8 forward who can score in just about every way on the court. Many compare him to Carmelo Anthony, and many feel he’s a sure thing at the next level because of his skill set, basketball IQ and demeanor.”

Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com on 17 of 30 NBA executives saying they would take Jabari Parker with the top overall pick.

It truly is a toss up though as most general manager admit Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid have more upside while Jabari Parker is the most complete prospect.
