It costs how much to see a Cavs home game?!?!?

I get it. LeBron James is a huge draw. Add the fact he is returning to the Cavs where it all began for him in the NBA and it should not come to a surprise that the Cavs would hike up home tickets just a tad. Right? Wrong! If you thought ticket prices to see James […]

Making a halfcourt shot with a kick is a breeze for Manu Ginobili

The Spurs will be the focus of NBA TV’s special “Champions Revealed: 2014 San Antonio Spurs” as the cameras will try to capture just what makes the guys from the Alamo City such winners. A few clips have been leaked but this latest footage shows Manu Ginobili (sans bald spot) nailing a trick shot with […]

Top 5 most expensive games for Mavericks tickets

The Dallas Mavericks enter the 2014-15 season after falling just short of defeating the San Antonio Spurs in the 2014 NBA playoffs. In fact, the Mavs took the eventual champions to seven games and by far were the most difficult team for San Antonio to eliminate in last year’s playoffs. With that oh-so-close success of […]

Matt Barnes needs help learning to inbound the ball properly

Chalk it up to preseason rust but Clippers’ Matt Barnes might need a few more preseason games to tune up his inbound passing. In a game versus Golden State, Matt chucked the ball from the baseline only to see it ricochet off the bottom of the backboard and into the hands of Stephen Curry. You […]

Lock ‘Em Up, Rob Hennigan

It was not that long ago when the Orlando Magic’s top priority was dealing away a disgruntled Dwight Howard, and the Magic fans’ top priority was winning the break up. When Magic General Manager Rob Hennigan signed, sealed and delivered Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers, Walt Disney’s neighbors were not so pleased. That was […]

Paul George back on the court

After suffering a gruesome leg injury over the summer with Team USA (and no I will not link the video because it is that bad), Pacers’ Paul George will be out the entire 2014-15 NBA season to recover from surgery.

However, it does appear Paul is recovering faster than expected and is actually back on the court taking a few shots at Pacers practice.

He looks good and signs of his awful injury are no where to be seen. George is not limping or struggling on his surgically-repaired leg.

Jason Kidd sensed Nets wanted to fire him

It is a rare event when a coach gets traded. Then again, Jason Kidd‘s one-year tenure in Brooklyn was anything but normal. Here was a coach fresh off of retirement taking over a veteran team with championship aspirations. The Nets, a team already boasting big expectations even if they were a bit undeserved and a […]

The 44-Minute Game: Four minutes shorter and a better flow?

On Sunday afternoon, the Nets and Celtics participated in one of the NBA’s most interesting preseason experiments in recent memory: a shortened, 44-minute game with four 11-minute quarters. The idea follows suit with the MLB considering a “pitch clock” along with other initiatives to speed up games that routinely go past three hours. There has […]
